but I just wanted to say - originally I started this tumblr because a friend of mine isn’t into “gross” (her word, ha) stuff, which I used to post on my primary tumblr, so I started boatfullofdicks as my outlet for anything sexually-related or potentially offensive, in order to humor her. so I’m posting this here because I know she doesn’t read this, to spare her any possible embarrassment (although she already got help).
people, if you are ever feeling suicidal at all, get it out there. call your friends, your parents, anybody you could possibly get to listen, and definitely call the suicide hotline (1-800-SUICIDE - no joke - free, nationwide, 24/7) because the people there are (by her testament) very good, very smart, and want to help. seriously - it gets said so much it turns into a background hum. but suicide is scary stuff and life is bigger and better than that and it’s going to hurt people way more than you might even believe if you kill yourself. so please let me just join the chorus for a minute - if you’re feeling suicidal, please please please please please please get help. talk to people. talk to anyone. don’t let any stigma stop you - anybody who’s going to think less of you or call your seriousness into question is either just not a very good person or someone who hasn’t had the life experience to develop adequate senses of empathy and charity yet. again - 1-800-SUICIDE. nobody wants you to die.
